Hamburg up next in the DFB-Pokal

Eintracht Frankfurt will travel to Hamburger SV at the end of October in the second round of the DFB-Pokal.

The draw for the second round of the DFB-Pokal took place on Saturday evening, handing Eintracht Frankfurt an away game at Hamburger SV, who beat SC Verl in the previous round.

“We’ve been given a tough tie against fellow Bundesliga side HSV,” said Eintracht head coach Adi Hütter. “Facing each other twice within the space of just a few days makes it all the more special. We’re already looking forward to a great atmosphere in Hamburg for what should be an exciting cup night, and we’ll give everything to make sure we reach the next round.”

The second-round fixtures will be played on 27 and 28 October 2026, with the exact dates and times to be confirmed in due course.
