Hansi Flick tests Barcelona star in new position before Olympiacos | OneFootball

Barcelona head coach Hansi Flick tested a member of his attacking ranks in a new role in training on Monday morning.

That’s according to Diario Sport, who point to Roony Bardghji as the player in question.

Youngster Bardghji was for his part forced to make do with a spot on the bench this past weekend, as Barcelona secured a return to winning ways at the expense of Girona.

This came as youngster Toni Fernández was afforded a surprise start amid the ongoing absence of all of Raphinha, Ferran Torres and Robert Lewandowski.

On Tuesday, though, Bardghji could seemingly be afforded his latest starting berth.

Barca are of course currently in the midst of final preparations for a return to action on the continent on Tuesday.

A Champions League meeting with Greek giants Olympiacos lies in wait.

And according to the aforementioned Sport, on Monday, Hansi Flick tested Bardghji in a new spot on the left wing in training, where he joined Lamine Yamal and Marcus Rashford in an unfamiliar frontline.
