Herri Norte allegations as women describe abuse, harassment and fear | OneFootball

Women linked to Herri Norte have published testimonies alleging a pattern of sexist violence, harassment and abuse, including accounts of assault, intimidation and social isolation.

According to El Correo, posts denouncing the behaviour of some members depict an unhealthy, sometimes criminal dynamic with women. Several say restraining orders were ignored and that speaking up left them stigmatised.

One woman says that about three years ago she awoke in a Bilbao flat with three men in her bed and that sex occurred when she was not in a state to decide. She took the morning-after pill the next day and believes no protection was used, adding that she later endured mockery from their friends.

Other accounts claim a WhatsApp group circulated intimate images without consent and that multiple aggressors are known within the group. One woman says an HNT member threatened to rape her in a car when she was 18. Another alleges a man who assaulted her still helps to lead the group.

Carla, from Burgos, describes persistent messages, an unsolicited explicit photo and a night when the man entered her bedroom and pressed for sex. She says she fled the flat in silence and later received a message chastising her for leaving.

The testimonies were posted on a feminist-run website that protects anonymity to avoid reprisals. The wave of complaints followed a young woman’s public rape report, after which a member of Bultzada, Real Sociedad’s radical supporters, insulted her, and the site also carries accounts involving Iraultza, the Alavés ultras.
