Sheffield Wednesday have been advised to avoid sacking their manager

Sheffield Wednesday have been told to ignore calls for manager Henrik Pedersen to face the sack.
The Owls may be getting closer to a takeover off the pitch, with a deadline of December 5 set for the announcement of who will be leading them forward, but they continue to perform poorly in the Championship.
Obviously, their limited summer of transfer activity due to former owner Dejphon Chansiri’s financial mismanagement has severely hampered Wednesday’s ability to perform, but just a single victory in 16 matches may have been less than some supporters were expecting.
The most disappointing performance came last time out, when the Steel City side were defeated 3-0 at Hillsborough against arch-rivals Sheffield United, with a lacklustre and slow display not impressing the home crowd one bit.

For the first time this season, groups of the Wednesday fanbase started to question manager Henrik Pedersen and whether he was the correct candidate to lead them forward throughout the rest of the season.
Pedersen took over from Danny Rohl during the summer when it became clear that the German wasn’t going to continue as boss under Chansiri’s rule. The 47-year-old had never previously managed in English football, with his prior stints as a head coach coming in Denmark, Norway and Germany.
Despite calls from some supporters to relieve Pedersen of his duties after the Steel City derby defeat, Football League World’s Sheffield Wednesday fan pundit, Patrick McKenna, believes that the club should allow the Dane to remain in his position until the end of the season.

“I think that if people were tweeting out those sorts of opinions, maybe having slept on it, and in the light of day, I think they may retract them. We still have a lot to thank Henrik for. The fact that he stayed on throughout all the chaos and has taken on this mess this season.
“He has had us battling away, which gets him a lot of praise. He's not immune to criticism and I think new owners are going to make that call.
“I'm perfectly happy for Pedersen to see out this season. However, new owners may want a fresh start and might bring in a new guy during this season or in the summer, but no, I wouldn't call for his head after the derby.”

Given Wednesday’s current administrative state and almost certain relegation to League One, there seems little reason for them to make a decision on Pedersen’s future.
It seems almost impossible for them to achieve survival now, with an 18-point gap to 21st, so there wouldn’t be much gained by having to relieve the Dane of his duties.
Perhaps the Owls’ new owners may want to appoint their own boss and look to prepare for next season, which could be understood, but it would no doubt cost them crucial money to sack Pedersen.
Therefore, Wednesday’s
