The Eagles will look to extend their 18-match unbeaten streak as they open their league phase campaign
Crystal Palace embark on their Conference League league phase campaign this afternoon, facing Dynamo Kyiv in Poland.
Oliver Glasner’s side extended their unbeaten run to 18 matches last weekend after beating reigning Premier League champions Liverpool at Selhurst Park.
That streak is the longest in Europe and double the length of the second-best run, held by Barcelona (9).
The Eagles narrowly beat Norwegian side Fredrikstad in a two-leg qualifier to reach the Conference League proper, and have drawn Kyiv as their first opponent at this stage.
The Ukrainians are two-time European Cup Winners’ Cup champions, but last won silverware on the continent in 1986.
They appeared in the Europa League last season, but were knocked out in the league phase after finishing 34th of 36 teams. They took just four points from eight matches, beating Latvian side FK RFS and drawing with Galatasaray.
They will hope to make a deeper run in the Conference League this season, and will do so with former West Ham winger Andriy Yarmolenko leading the line.
The Ukrainian represented the Hammers from 2018 to 2022, tallying 13 goals, and has announced that this season will be his last as a professional footballer.
TV channel: In the UK, the game will be televised live on TNT Sports 3. Coverage starts at 5pm BST ahead of a 5.45pm kick-off.
Live stream: TNT Sports subscribers can also catch the contest live online via the Discovery+ app and website.
