Lawrence Vigouroux kept Swansea City in it with sharp stops from Joe Gelhardt and Liam Millar before the interval. After the restart, Ivor Pandur denied Liam Cullen with a low save as the visitors pressed.

Swansea City halved the deficit when Cullen glanced in Josh Tymon's cross following a corner (59.). Tymon's deliveries continued to ask questions, but the final touch was missing.

Hull posted seven shots on target from 10 attempts despite 29.9% possession. Swansea City saw 70.1% of the ball and tallied 16 attempts, testing Pandur only four times.

Next, Hull visit Blackburn Rovers. Swansea City travel to Watford.
