Inter Milan face a potentially tricky away fixture at Sassuolo this evening, and Luis Henrique has warned his teammates not to underestimate the challenge awaiting them at the Mapei Stadium.

Speaking to Inter TV in the build-up to the match, the Brazilian winger stressed the importance of maintaining focus.

“Every match is important,” Luis Henrique said, via FCInterNews.

“Step by step we have to keep picking up points to reach the final target. Sassuolo are a strong team, with a strong attack. We must stay concentrated, but we’re working well for this.”

The former Marseille man also offered a personal update on his condition.

Indeed, underlining how much confidence has helped him grow in recent weeks.

“Physically I feel good. Mentally, the confidence I feel from the coach and my teammates is very important. I’m happy to help the team in every match,” he concluded.

Inter will look to translate those words into performance on the pitch as they aim to keep pace at the top of the table.

Luis Henrique also spoke to DAZN ahead of the game, with quotes via FCInterNews.

“I’m really happy with the trust the coach has in me. I’ve always worked hard to reach this level and I hope I can maintain it.”
