Ivan Toney has been charged following an alleged nightclub assault in London in December 2025. He is due before Winchester court on 24 September.
The Metropolitan Police said the 30-year-old was charged on Thursday 31 July with assault occasioning actual bodily harm, relating to an incident said to have occurred on 6 December 2025 in a nightclub in central London.

The England international was a semi-finalist at the 2026 World Cup.
He recognises the charge and, while shocked, looks forward to the chance to clear his name in court.
Toney previously received an eight-month suspension in 2023 for involvement in illegal betting.
