Former West Brom captain Jed Wallace has joined Bristol City on a two-year deal after leaving at the end of his contract.

According to ExpressAndStar.com, the 32-year-old left The Hawthorns after four years and more than 140 games, and now moves to Ashton Gate.

Wallace said he is proud and excited to sign, sees a huge opportunity this season and hopes to support the existing leaders in the group. He added that there will be ups and downs, so experienced players must keep things steady, and he is eager to meet the fans.

Robins manager Michael Skubala called him a high-quality addition and said his extensive experience at this level is a major positive.

Sporting director James Ellis said the plan is to balance a youthful squad with know-how, and believes Wallace brings plenty of that experience.
