Juventus and AC Milan meet in a heavyweight clash as two clubs hoping to challenge for the top spot in the league this season go head to head.
Milan have been one of the top clubs in the country, while Juve remain the biggest club in Italian football and are determined to rise again. The Bianconeri have been working to return to the top after a period away from the league title.
Inter Milan, AC Milan and Napoli have all won the league since the last time Juve were crowned Italian champions. The Bianconeri are therefore keen to ensure they can return to the top of the game and challenge for the title again.
The men in black and white have won back-to-back league games so far this season, but that record is matched by AC Milan. One of the teams will therefore surrender their winning run in this meeting, unless they produce a result that keeps both records intact.
This promises to be a difficult match for Juve, who have already suffered from several injuries. Their problems have been made worse by the absence of star man Kenan Yildiz, who will be out of action for a long time.
Despite those concerns, Juventus have a positive recent record against Milan. The men at the Allianz Stadium have not lost to AC Milan in their last three meetings, although they won only one of those matches.

Both league meetings between these sides last season ended in goalless draws, highlighting how difficult it can be for either team to find a way through the other’s defence.
Randal Kolo Muani has to start scoring, and this could be the match in which he begins to show his quality. Juventus will need their attacking players to step up if they are to overcome Milan and maintain their winning start.
The Bianconeri have enough quality to make this a competitive encounter despite their injury problems. Their recent record against Milan also gives them reason to feel confident, and we predict Juventus to secure a 1-0 victory.
