Kaio César has spoken in Saudi Arabia about wearing a Corinthians shirt this season, saying the agreement is in place and he is finding it hard to manage the anticipation.
According to Globo.com, an accord has been reached between the clubs and his representative, yet a shortage in Al-Hilal’s squad means he will remain in the country for a few more days before reporting to CT Joaquim Grava.
The forward addressed local media on Thursday after featuring in Al-Hilal’s 4-1 win over Al-Feiha in the Saudi league, adding that those around him know his wish and that his anxiety is racing.
Multiple sources indicated the loan would cost €500,000, about R$ 3.1m at current rates, though Corinthians says it will pay only the player’s wages.
At the end of 2026, should they want to keep him, Corinthians must pay €6m for 50 percent of his economic rights.
A Coritiba academy graduate with a spell at Vitória de Guimarães, he has played for Al-Hilal since the 2024/2025 Asian season. At 21, he is expected to provide Dorival Júnior with much-needed pace.
