Largie Ramazani has joined Championship side Burnley from Leeds United on a season-long loan, with the move set to become permanent next summer.

Burnley will pay £6.5m, rising to £8.5m with add-ons. The club said in a statement that the switch will be triggered if the winger hits an achievable appearance threshold for Burnley.

Leeds signed the Belgian from Almería for £10m in August 2024. He played 29 league games and scored six as Daniel Farke’s team won the Championship and returned to the Premier League.

Ramazani debuted in a home victory over Hull City, then opened his account in the away win at Cardiff City.

With minutes limited last term, he spent the season on loan at Valencia, scoring six in 31 appearances across all competitions. He was not involved on his return to Elland Road and leaves with Leeds’ best wishes.
