Lazio ‘ask’ Juventus for Fabio Miretti loan, permanent sale preferred | OneFootball

Lazio have enquired about taking Fabio Miretti on loan from Juventus, but the Bianconeri are only open to a permanent sale.

According to Tuttosport, Gennaro Gattuso wants greater quality in midfield after a campaign without European qualification, and Juventus value Miretti at around 15m.

Miretti has progressed at Juventus and on loan at Genoa, and is considered a young, versatile option capable of filling several midfield roles.

Juventus chief executive Giovanni Carnevali and sporting director Frederic Massara are only open to an outright sale, a stance that has been relayed to the capital, leaving Angelo Fabiani awaiting Juventuss next move.

Much may also depend on Juventuss own midfield plans. Miretti can operate centrally or as an attacking midfielder, in a two or a three, and could yet suit Gattusos system if a deal becomes feasible.
