Lazio confirm Patric sale to Al-Ettifaq

Lazio said in a statement on Monday that Spanish defender Patric had joined Al-Ettifaq, a club in the United Arab Emirates, on a permanent deal.

The 33-year-old had yet to play a competitive minute under Gennaro Gattuso in the 2026-27 campaign.

He made 16 appearances across all competitions last season.

Patric arrived from Barcelona’s youth ranks in 2015 and went on to play 244 times for Lazio, scoring six goals.

During his time at the Stadio Olimpico, he won the Coppa Italia and the Supercoppa Italiana twice.
