Lazio confirm season-long loan for Sutalo from Ajax | OneFootball

Lazio have confirmed the season-long loan signing of Croatia international Josip Sutalo from Ajax, with an option to buy.

According to Football Italia, the agreement includes a loan fee of €three million for 2026-27 and an option to make the move permanent for a further €seven and a half million.

Sutalo has spent the past three seasons at Ajax after joining from Dinamo Zagreb in summer 2023 for €20.5 million. He has made 76 Eredivisie appearances and 108 in all competitions, and was named in the 2024-25 team of the season.

The 26-year-old centre-back has 37 caps for Croatia.

He is Lazio’s fourth first-team arrival of the summer after Davide Frattesi, Danilho Doekhi and Alfonso Pedraza.
