Leeds United could wrap up three deals in the next 24 hours as Daniel Farke pushes to add two or three more signings before the one September deadline.
According to Sky Germany, Leeds and Hamburg have agreed a loan with an obligation to buy for Sebastiaan Bornauw, with a fee of around £3.5m to £4m. A medical is scheduled on Monday.
Leeds are closing in on a deal worth up to £8.2m for Nico Elvedi, an initial £6.8m plus add-ons. He is set to sign permanently after 11 years with Gladbach, where he made 364 appearances.
Both transactions could be completed within the next 24 hours, aligning with Farke’s 48 hour timeline after Saturday’s win over Augsburg.
With James Trafford arriving, goalkeeper Lucas Perri is set for Torino after talks accelerated, despite interest from Marseille. The move is expected to be a loan with an option to buy.
Leeds have already added three this summer, Harry Wilson on a free, Tarik Muharemovic for £34m and a record capture of Trafford. Farke still wants cover at centre-back, a back-up goalkeeper, a left-back and a versatile forward.
There has been movement out too, Joe Gelhardt has joined Hull City for £6.5m and West Ham have lodged a £12.8m bid for Joel Piroe.
