Leicester City make five changes to face Birmingham, with Jamaal Lascelles and Joe Aribo handed debuts. According to LeicesterMercury.co.uk, number one Jakub Stolarczyk is dropped for Asmir Begovic.

Deadline-day signings Lascelles and Aribo come straight into the XI for their first starts of the season, having been out of favour at Newcastle and Southampton.

Begovic returns in goal after covering during Stolarczyk’s injury in November, and this is the first time he has been preferred to the Pole.

Fit-again Oliver Skipp replaces the injured Hamza Choudhury at the base of midfield, with Harry Winks left out. Patson Daka starts ahead of Jordan Ayew.

Lascelles, whose last appearance was in September, is required at centre-back with Caleb Okoli suspended and Jannik Vestergaard still injured. He partners Ben Nelson, with Ricardo Pereira and Luke Thomas at full-back.

Aribo takes over from Louis Page in the box-to-box role, with Skipp behind him and Bobby De Cordova-Reid ahead.

Abdul Fatawu and Stephy Mavididi flank Daka, who is chasing his second league goal of the season. City line up in a 4-3-3.

Divine Mukasa and Dujuan Richards are among the substitutes, and Victor Kristiansen returns from a knee injury. There is no place for Silko Thomas, Wanya Marcal or Kevon Gray.
