WSL Full-Time were informed of the news via an official club press release from The Cityzens this afternoon.
The 23-year-old joined Manchester City from their Barclays Women’s Super League rivals Aston Villa in January 2024. Blindkilde Brown was a Barclays Women’s Super League and Adobe Women’s FA Cup double-winner with The Cityzens last season. She was heavily used by head coach Andrée Jeglertz across the campaign. The player has made close to 60 appearances for Manchester City in all competitions since arriving at the club.
There is much more to come from Blindkilde Brown and Manchester City have therefore moved to retain the player’s services for an extended period.
After signing her new deal with Manchester City, Blindkilde Brown said “I’m really excited to carry on this journey. I’ve had a really fun two-and-a-half years here.
“I’ve grown so much as a player, and this is a team which I think gets the best out of me too. I want to show more of what I can do this season.”
Blindkilde Brown follows teammate Aoba Fujino in signing a new long-term contract with Manchester City this week.
