Dro Fernandez, the 17-year-old La Masia talent, has impressed quite a lot with his growth and potential in recent months, and he surely looks to be the next academy talent to make the jump to the Barcelona first team, even though he is expected to play mainly for the reserve team this season.

The youngster’s talent has not only impressed the Blaugranes and Hansi Flick, but the glimpses of football that he has shown in his limited opportunities with the first team so far have already made him a highly attractive target for the big clubs across Europe.

This was quite apparent when reports recently emerged about the interest of two Premier League giants, Manchester City and Chelsea, in him. Now, another report from Fichajes claims that two other powerhouses from England, Manchester United and Liverpool, are also interested in him.

Dro has impressed with his technique, vision, ability to link up with his teammates, and versatility, and the interest from all these big sides goes on to confirm that he has all the ingredients to succeed at the highest level.

However, it looks highly unlikely that Barcelona would allow such a promising talent to get out of their hands, while the player himself would be keen to follow the example of players like Lamine Yamal, Pau Cubarsi, and Marc Bernal to make the jump to the first team.
