Martin Satriano has completed a permanent move from OL to Getafe for six million euros, plus up to 200,000 euros in add-ons, the club said in a statement.

The Uruguayan forward joined OL at the end of the summer window, and on 16 January the clubs agreed a loan with a purchase option set at six and a half million euros, making it apparent he would not feature for Lyon again.

To make that possible, OL first signed him from Lens by activating a clause worth five million euros, with bonuses up to one million euros and a 10% sell-on clause negotiated by Lens.

He played 19 matches for Lyon and scored three, including a brace against Nantes, but his prospects faded, especially after Endrick arrived on loan from Real Madrid.

In Spain he has rediscovered his spark, scoring three in 10 La Liga matches and convincing his coach and the board to back him. The move leaves Lyon close to break-even. At 25, Satriano hopes this is a new start.
