Girona FC presented Mateu Morey this Wednesday as the team's new player. The defender appeared at a press conference accompanied by the Club's president, Delfí Geli, in an event where he shared his first impressions as a red-and-white footballer and his goals for the new season.

Delfí Geli highlighted Morey's addition and his contribution to the team: “We are very happy that Mate has joined Girona's challenge to return to the First Division. We are signing a young player but with experience in the category. I am sure he will help us build a competitive team and provide more options for the coach.”

For his part, Mateu Morey explained that his adaptation to the locker room has been very positive: “I have found an incredible group of people. I am here to contribute my bit to achieve the goal.” The new Girona player assured that he arrives with maximum commitment: “I am ready to give my all for this jersey and this badge.”

Morey also emphasized Girona's project and the desire to return to the top division: “Girona is a great Club and has been showing it for many years. Finally, Mateu Morey explained that his arrival in Girona will also have a very special personal component: “I know Girona will be a part of me.
