Allan: Viana made me feel comfortable about City move

The Brazilian winger put pen to paper on a five-year deal at City earlier on Monday and took part in his first session as a Blue this afternoon.

At 22, the skilful star has shone for Palmeiras in his homeland having honed his craft through futsal.

A left footer that spends most of his time on the right flank, our new man loves to beat a man and cut inside to find a pass or go for goal himself.

He steps straight into Enzo Maresca’s squad, who have enjoyed a long weekend since the successful trip to Crystal Palace on Friday night.

Rayan Cherki and Erling Haaland got two goals each in that comprehensive victory at Selhurst Park.

Now though, attention has turned to the visit of Coventry City this Saturday before the Champions League gets going next week.
