The participants in the latest edition of the Finalissima – which pits the champions of Europe and South America against one another – in turn, were confirmed.

The matchup does not yet have a confirmed date, but will play out at some point in 2025.

And it will afford those of a Barcelona persuasion with what is likely to be a once-in-a-lifetime opportunity.

That in question? A direct meeting between the club’s past and future, in Blaugrana icon Lionel Messi (Argentina) and Lamine Yamal (Spain).
