Monaco ‘discussing options’ to replace Paul Pogba, Filipe Luís says | OneFootball

AS Monaco are assessing replacements for Paul Pogba after terminating his contract by mutual consent on Wednesday, one year into a two-year deal.

According to Get French Football News, the 33-year-old joined last summer after the end of a two-year doping ban, but injuries restricted him to just over 100 minutes across six appearances.

New head coach Filipe Luís said replacing Pogba was possible, adding that Monaco were discussing options within their means and could remain open in the market until the last day.

The Principality club could also lose Lamine Camara before the window closes, with the Senegal international attracting interest from the Premier League.

Mexico international Erik Lira has been linked with a move to Monaco.
