Monaco negotiating loan for Hicham Boudaoui from Nice as joker signing

Monaco are in talks to sign Nice midfielder Hicham Boudaoui on loan as a joker, having been expected to join Al-Ittihad in Saudi Arabia.

According to L'Équipe, the Algeria international, 26, is under contract until 2027 and the move being discussed is a loan with an option to buy.

If an agreement is reached, Boudaoui would first extend his Nice deal by one year before heading to Monaco.

It has been a hectic final day on the Côte d’Azur, with Niels Nkounkou and Abdelhak Ben Idder arriving at Nice.
