Norwich City have set their sights on the Lille winger after his impressive stint on loan in the Netherlands
Norwich City ended the season on a positive note even as they missed out on a play-off place.
Philippe Clement earned a lot of credit for turning things around at Carrow Road following his appointment as head coach in November.
The former Rangers boss took charge of the Canaries with the club at risk of relegation from the Championship.
But a strong run of form in the second half of the term saw them climb up to ninth in the table, missing out on a top six finish by just eight points.
The Norfolk outfit will now turn their attention to the January transfer window, as they look to improve the squad for a more sustained promotion push next season.
Norwich will be looking to end their absence from the Premier League, where they haven’t competed since 2022.

It has been reported by French outlet Foot Mercato that Norwich are among the clubs chasing the signature of Ichem Ferrah this summer.
It has been claimed that the 20-year-old is on the Championship side’s radar as they look to bolster their attacking options for next season.
The youngster spent last season on loan with Dutch club Cambuur, where he scored 12 goals from 35 appearances in the second tier.
He helped the team gain promotion to the Eredivisie, impressing with his performances, which has garnered a lot of attention from a number of sides.
Norwich face competition from the likes of Copenhagen, Malmo, Genk and La Gantoise, as well as Feyenoord.
There are also believed to be a number of French clubs interested in the winger, who has yet to break into Lille’s first team plans.
It is understood that a move away from the Ligue 1 team is the most likely outcome at this stage, with uncertainty surrounding the manager’s position.
Bruno Génésio is currently in charge of the club, but it is unclear if he will remain in the dugout after their third place finish in the table as he is attracting interest from the likes of Marseille.
Ferrah has come through the ranks of the French side’s academy system, but has only made one appearance in the top flight so far.
The forward is set to enter the final 12 months of his current contract, which expires in June 2027, adding further pressure on the club to sell him this summer.

Norwich ended the season on a positive note, and their work in the January window proved important, with the arrivals of Mohamed Touré and Paris Maghoma proving important.
Sporting director Ben Knapper has turned around his reputation at Carrow Road, and he will now have a certain level of trust from supporters.
While Ferrah has no experience of English football, he earned a lot of praise for his performances in the Dutch second tier this season, and he could prove a very exciting signing for the Canaries.
If they can win the race to his signature, then it could prove a very smart piece of business for the club.
