Nottingham Forest confirm Portugal camp with three friendlies including Sporting and Blackburn | OneFootball

Nottingham Forest have confirmed three pre-season friendlies during a training camp in Portugal next month.

The club said in a statement that the 12-day trip will help Vítor Pereira and his squad build togetherness, with further fixtures and ticketing and streaming details to be announced in due course.

Forest face Blackburn Rovers at the Estadio de Nora on Wednesday 22 July, 11am BST. A meeting with Vitoria de Guimaraes follows on Sunday 26 July behind closed doors.

They then play Sporting at the Estadio Algarve on Friday 31 July, with kick-off to be confirmed.

The Reds’ 2026/27 Premier League schedule begins at home to Leeds United on August 22, before a trip to Liverpool on August 29.

Pereira preserved top-flight status after his February appointment with an impressive turnaround. Forest will aim to climb the table and are eager to secure an immediate return to European football after reaching the Europa League semi-finals under him.
