Smith grew up in the Chelsea academy system before starting out on her senior career with Leicester City where she won the Barclays WSL2 title in 2020/2021. The forward spent three years with The Foxes before joining Birmingham City where she stayed for the next four years. She was a Barclays WSL2 runner-up with Blues in 2022/2023.

On the international stage, Smith has previously turned out for England at various youth levels.

After joining Nottingham Forest, Smith said “I’m delighted to have signed for Forest. It’s such an ambitious club, full of history, so I’m really happy to be here.

“I’m looking forward to being back playing in England. The WSL2 is a really competitive league; I’m excited to get started.”

Smith links-up with the Nottingham Forest squad ahead of Sunday’s Barclays WSL2 fixture against Sheffield United at The City Ground.
