Official: Barcelona star to miss 2-3 weeks with injury blow

La Liga giants Barcelona have on Friday made official a fresh personnel blow in the club’s first-team ranks.
This comes amid confirmation that attacking star Lamine Yamal has suffered an injury setback.
The name of wide-man Lamine had returned to the forefront of the headlines in Catalunya’s capital over the course of the day to date.
As much comes after word was forthcoming that the 18-year-old was dealing with a fresh round of discomfort in his pubis.
Lamine only returned to the pitch last weekend, after sitting out a quartet of Barcelona fixtures with a groin problem suffered whilst on international duty with Spain.
The youngster was nevertheless called upon by La Roja boss Luis de la Fuente earlier today, for the country’s upcoming round of October fixtures.
But as alluded to above, Lamine will play no part in either these outings, nor Barca’s La Liga clash with Sevilla on Sunday.
As per a statement across the social media platforms of the Blaugrana:
‘The discomfort in the pubic area that player Lamine Yamal has been experiencing has reappeared after the match against PSG. He will be out for the Sevilla game, and the estimated recovery time is 2-3 weeks.’
