Eintracht Frankfurt have today officially announced the signing of Touloue winger Farès Chaïbi (20) in a deal worth around €17m. The Bundesliga side confirmed via a communiqué on Wednesday the signing of the Algerian international, who signs with the club in a deal which runs until 2028.
Chaïbi was part of the Toulouse side which won the Coupe de France last season, and has played a total of 43 matches for TFC. The 20-year-old has scored eight goals and provided eight assists since he joined the senior squad from the youth academy of Les Violets.
He now will join the Bundesliga with Frankfurt, who are still active late on in the window. The German side are still holding out on Randal Kolo Muani, who has recently expressed his desire to leave the club and join PSG – the Parisian even has boycotted training. Meanwhile, Frankfurt are still trying to sign PSG’s Hugo Ekitike, who is yet to agree personal terms with the club.
