Official: Frankfurt's Futkeu joins Elversberg on loan with option to buy | OneFootball

Eintracht Frankfurt have agreed to loan Noel Futkeu to SV Elversberg for the 2026-27 campaign, with the deal running until June 2027.

The Saarland club, newly promoted to the Bundesliga, also hold an option to buy the striker.

Futkeu joined Frankfurt from Schwarz-Weiß Essen in 2023 and scored 16 goals in 27 Regionalliga appearances.

He moved to SpVgg Greuther Fürth in 2024 and finished last season as 2. Bundesliga top scorer with 19 goals in 36 games.

Sporting director Timmo Hardung said Futkeu exemplifies how young players at Frankfurt can develop into professionals via different pathways, through the U-21 team or an intermediate step in another league. He added that Elversberg offers promising conditions for him to gain a foothold in the Bundesliga.
