Marvin Senaya (24) has completed his move from RC Strasbourg Alsace to AJ Auxerre. The Frenchman has signed a four-year deal with the Burgundy club.
Senaya, a right-back, spent last season on loan at Laussane-Sport. However, given the transformation at Alsace club since the arrival of new owners BlueCo, it was always unlikely that his performances in Switzerland would earn him a way back into the first-team picture. Ultimately, he made only eight appearances for the Swiss side over the course of his loan.
Since breaking through, the right-back played 49 times for Strasbourg, netting two goals and registering two assists. However, he has now departed, signing a four-year deal with Auxerre. Neither Strasbourg nor Auxerre have revealed the value of the transfer.
He has become the fourth signing of the transfer window for L’AJA. His arrival follows that of Josué Casimir (free), Francisco Sierralta (€1.8m), and another right-back, Lamine Sy (free).
