Official: Santamaría leaves for PAOK | OneFootball

Valencia have terminated Baptiste Santamaría’s contract, allowing the French midfielder to join PAOK. The club said in a brief statement that his departure is official.

Santamaría was deemed surplus to requirements by Carlos Corberán and is the first of that group to secure a move.

The midfielder made 22 appearances across La Liga and the Copa, scoring one goal against Athletic on matchday five.

His involvement waned in the second half of the season after the arrival of Guido and the return to fitness of Ugrinic.

Two players remain outside Corberán’s plans, Cenk and Raba. Cenk is aware of his situation, considers his cycle at Valencia to be over, is training alone at Paterna and has not travelled to the Girona training camp. He is waiting for an offer that meets his ambitions.

Raba, who barely featured under Corberán last season, currently has no intention of leaving.
