OL and AC Milan ‘in talks’ over Youssouf Fofana loan | OneFootball

Sky Sport Italy reports that Lyon are exploring a loan with an option to buy for AC Milan midfielder Youssouf Fofana. Discussions involve both clubs and the player, but no agreement is in place.

The 27-year-old France international, capped 25 times with 3 goals, wants a change of scene this summer and is under contract until 2028.

Paulo Fonseca would like to bolster midfield with an athletic profile like the former Monaco man. However, in recent hours Lyon have prioritised trimming the squad.

A sale of Tanner Tessmann would be required before any addition in midfield is considered.
