As per De Telegraaf, only Esmee Brugts will be missing next week when the Dutch women’s team starts their preparation for the European Championship in Switzerland.
The FC Barcelona winger will get a few extra days off because she played in the Spanish Cup final on Saturday, where her side beat Atletico Madrid 2-0. National coach Andries Jonker has selected the same 26 players as during the last international period.
Also on the list are attackers Vivianne Miedema and Lineth Beerensteyn. They missed the disappointing Nations League matches against Germany (4-0 loss) and Scotland (1-1) because they were not fit enough. Jonker already said that they would be able to join the three-day training camp, which runs from 19 to 21 June.
After the camp, Jonker will announce his final selection for the tournament. He will train with them for the first time on 23 June, followed three days later by a farewell match against Finland in Leeuwarden. The first match in the competition this summer is against Wales and will be on 5 July.
