Palmeiras extend Flaco López contract to 2030 | OneFootball

The club announced on Tuesday morning that Flaco López has renewed his contract with Palmeiras, running until December 2030.

López expressed delight at the extension and gratitude to the club, happy to be part of its daily work. He echoed Abel’s family-first message at Palmeiras, calling himself blessed and hopeful that more good things will follow.

He has made 225 appearances across five seasons, scoring 78 goals. His six trophies are three Paulistas, 2023, 2024 and 2026, two Brasileiros, 2022 and 2023, and the Supercopa do Brasil in 2023.

This year he featured in Argentina’s World Cup campaign that finished runner-up. For Palmeiras he has played 45 times and scored 21 goals in 2026.

López is the current squad’s leading scorer for the club. He is also third in Palmeiras’ rankings this century, behind Raphael Veiga on 109 and Dudu on 88.

A Lanús academy graduate, he joined Palmeiras in 2022. He is the Argentine with the most titles and the most wins in the club’s history, and the second-highest Argentine scorer, behind Echevarrieta on 113.
