Parma ‘to seek’ Matteo Cancellieri return as Fiorentina, Bologna and Genoa enquire | OneFootball

Lazio winger Matteo Cancellieri is drawing Serie A interest, with Parma keen on a reunion and Fiorentina, Bologna and Genoa also monitoring his situation as the deadline looms.

La Lazio Siamo Noi reports Parma want to bring the 24-year-old back to the Ennio Tardini on a permanent deal, which would be required given his expiring contract, and that around four million euros could be enough. Separately, an Italian journalist claims Fiorentina, Bologna and Genoa have made enquiries.

Cancellieri joined Lazio from Hellas Verona in 2022. He spent two loan spells between 2023 and 2025 at Empoli and Parma, then returned to Formello last summer.

This season he started the Coppa Italia defeat to Mantova and the Serie A win over Bologna, but has yet to convince. At the Renato Dall’Ara he was withdrawn at half-time for the returning Gustav Isaksen, who immediately improved the right flank.

Isaksen is expected to be Gennaro Gattuso’s first choice once fully fit, having only recently resumed training, while the versatile Tijjani Noslin can cover on the right. That could leave Cancellieri surplus, and Lazio might be tempted to sell before his deal runs out next year.
