Right-back Pedro Milans, 23, announced on Wednesday, becomes the sixth active foreigner in Corinthians’ squad and the club’s 80th overseas player.

According to Meu Timao, he is the ninth Uruguayan to represent the club. The last was centre-back Bruno Méndez, who played 119 games and scored once between 2019 and 2023.

Ángel Romero leads the club’s foreign contingent for appearances with 377, alongside 67 goals and six titles. He is followed by compatriot Balbuena on 167 outings and three titles, and Colombia’s Freddy Rincón with 158 games and four trophies.

Foreign players available to Dorival Júnior are José Martínez, Rodrigo Garro, André Carrillo, Memphis Depay and Héctor Hernández, though Hernández is not in the plans. Félix Torres and Diego Palacios, both from Ecuador, are out on loan at Internacional and Universidad Católica of Ecuador.

In all, Corinthians have fielded players from 22 foreign nations. Of the previous 79, only three never made a competitive appearance, Argentines Emiliano Vecchio and Mariano Torres and Paraguayan goalkeeper Aldo Bobadilla.

Milans has signed through to the end of 2029 and is already listed on the CBF’s BID. He is awaiting Paulista registration to be eligible for Sunday’s meeting with Velo Clube in the fifth round.
