PSG banking on Feller for Frankfurt Champions League play-off | OneFootball

PSG visit Eintracht Frankfurt on Wednesday at 19:00 for a Champions League play-off first leg, leaning on new arrival Naomie Feller to sharpen an attack that misfired early last season.

At Poissy, Feller trained with 15-year-old Alyssa Charlier, emblematic of the club’s 2026-2027 plan. According to L'Équipe, Feller, 24, has joined from Real Madrid until 2030, while Charlier came from Quevilly to the academy last summer.

Coach Paulo César sees Feller’s international pedigree and left-sided quality as added value, and wants Charlier to keep progressing, praising her size, reading of the game and discipline. He says she is young but already important.

Paulo César noted only four goals in six league-phase games last season, a 17th-place finish out of 18, and said efficiency must start in match one with defensive diligence. Frankfurt, third in last season’s Bundesliga, were Europa Cup semi-finalists and kept clean sheets in qualifying, beating Nicosia 8-0 and Häcken 2-0. The return is on 2 September.
