FC Barcelona and PSG are finally going to face off in their much-anticipated UEFA Champions League tie tonight, and this is inarguably going to be the most-viewed match of tonight’s round of matches in the European competition.
However, both teams will be missing some of their important players. This is particularly the case with PSG, whose squad list, announced yesterday, did not include four key players, including Ousmane Dembele, Desire Doue, Khvicha Kvaratskhelia, and Marquinhos.
But Luis Enrique’s team can be weakened even further, as Mundo Deportivo reports that two other important players, Fabian Ruiz and Vitinha, are not fully fit, and their sensations in yesterday’s training session would determine their participation in this game.
Keeping in view the absences and lack of fitness of these players, Enrique might have to field a significantly changed team for this game. Thus, his defence is expected to be made up of Achraf Hakimi, Willian Pacho, Lucas Beraldo, and Nuno Mendes.
In the midfield, Fabian can still play, and might partner Kang In Lee and Mayulu. The attack will be composed of Barcola, Mbaye, and Goncalo Ramos. Thus, despite the absences, Luis Enrique will still have enough quality in his team to give Barcelona a hard time in this match.
