Pundit says Eze can no longer afford to drift through matches at Arsenal

Eberechi Eze’s stunning hat trick against Tottenham at the weekend has placed him firmly in the spotlight, and pundit Mick Brown believes the Arsenal attacker can no longer hide in matches and must now deliver consistently. Brown’s Challenge to Eze

Brown told Football Insider, “I think that brings a little bit of pressure with it, because he is not a nearly man any more, he is the man for Arsenal, and he has to continue to show that. He now cannot afford to drift through games playing it safe and doing a bit here and there. He is now set the standard, everybody knows what he is capable of and he showed that against Tottenham, and now the challenge is to keep that going. Obviously, scoring a hat trick against your biggest rivals will earn you the love of the fans, it is something they are not going to forget for years to come.”

Eze’s performance has undoubtedly raised expectations, and maintaining this level will be essential as Arsenal push for silverware across multiple competitions.
