It's set to be a busy couple of weeks at Loftus Road, with incomings and outgoings expected.
QPR are looking to put another disappointing season behind them, as they try to bridge the gap to the Championship play-off places under Marti Cifuentes in 2024/25.
The R's finished 18th in the second tier last season, but ended the season in good form by winning their final three matches on the bounce, with just one defeat in their final five games.
But for a club who'd register ninth and 11th place finishes in 2020/21 and 2021/22 respectively, back-to-back seasons fending off relegation have seen challenging times arrive at the club.
So, in what will be Cifuentes' first full season in charge at Loftus Road, the club and its fans are hopeful of brighter days ahead, starting from next year.
A busy summer transfer window is expected at the football club, as Cifuentes looks to shape his R's side into a team that can compete going forwards, but what is the latest news coming out of the football club?
According to journalist Phil Cadden, Birmingham City, Wrexham and QPR are all taking an interest in Portsmouth's out of contract midfielder Joe Morrell.
The Welsh international has made 105 appearances in all competitions for Pompey since his arrival from Luton Town in 2021, but his 31 appearances in all competitions last season were his lowest in a single campaign for the club.
Now the 27-year-old looks set to leave Fratton Park, after Portsmouth opted against extending his deal for a further year, and it's the R's who are among those clubs weighing up a potential bargain move on a free transfer.
Cifuentes could perhaps see the Welshman as an upgrade on former loan player Isaac Hayden, after the Newcastle United loanee returned to his parent club this summer, but is expected to also become a free agent in the coming weeks.
A recent Football Insider report listed Swansea City, Sheffield Wednesday, Millwall and QPR as being among a host of clubs chasing the signature of Rotherham United defender Cameron Humphreys.
The Manchester City academy graduate was one of the Miller's brighter sparks in what was a fairly dismal relegation campaign last season, and the club could look to cash in one of their more sellable assets this summer.
But Rotherham boss Steve Evans cooled any rumoured interest in the 25-year-old on Tuesday, telling the Rotherham Advertiser: “If he's mentioned with Wednesday then I’m not surprised if he’s mentioned with Thursday and Friday as well.
“Cameron has been really good for me in the three games he’s played but we are not aware of any interest from any club.”
The central defender has a further year remaining on his contract at the New York Stadium.
Welsh youth international George Nevett is a name that has been linked with a move to QPR this summer, after shining for Rochdale in the National League last season.
But now it appears that the R's have missed out on the highly-rated 18-year-old, as journalist Fabrizio Romano reported on Monday.
Romano has revealed that Peterborough United have beaten off interest to win the teenager's signature, and is expected to complete a medical with Posh.
QPR have recently announced that they have extended the contract of promising young striker Sinclair Armstrong for a further 12 months.
But according to Adam Leventhal of The Athletic, that doesn't mean that the Ireland international won't be sold this summer.
Leventhal reports that a number of clubs, both in the UK and abroad are interested in Armstrong, and that despite being offered a longer-term extension by the club, discussions have not moved forward with negotiations now being left at a standstill.
