Rasmus Kristensen ‘seals’ €6m move to FC Midtjylland

Rasmus Kristensen has sealed a €6m transfer to FC Midtjylland, the Danish right back’s second move since leaving Leeds United.

According to Florian Plettenberg, the switch is motivated by personal reasons, Eintracht Frankfurt have respected his wishes and a medical has already been completed.

Kristensen joined Leeds from Red Bull Salzburg for £10m in June 2022, then departed the following summer after relegation to the Championship.

He spent the 2023-24 campaign on loan at AS Roma, before moving to Eintracht Frankfurt the next summer on loan with a view to a permanent deal.

The full-back completed a permanent switch to Eintracht in May 2025, ending his association with Leeds, before this latest return to Denmark.
