Real Madrid have their priorities clear ahead of the next summer transfer window and their eyes are clearly fixated on signing a new central defender.
Juni Calafat and co., however, do not stop scouting top talents and continue to bring promising young names to the attention of the Real Madrid administration and management.
One of the latest names they have brought to light is that of Said El Mala, the young Bundesliga forward who has caught eyes with his stunning run over the past year. Real Madrid, unsurprisingly, keep him on the watch-list.
As confirmed in a recent report by Defensa Central, Calafat’s report has placed El Mala firmly on Real Madrid’s radar and the youngster’s name is gaining traction at the club.
The 1.FC Koln winger, after all, fits perfectly into the template Real Madrid have looked for in new young signings in recent years.

Still just 19 years of age, he has his whole career ahead of him and the club see him as having high potential.
Last season, the youngster played for his current club’s subsidiary team and scored 14 goals across competitions. This season, he has featured for the senior team and already has four goals to his name.
As it stands, the teenager’s market value stands at €18 million, but it is unlikely that Koln will agree to sell him for such a low valuation given his projection and the names that have appeared on the list of interested parties.
The Spanish outlet relay that the fee for the player, thus, could exceed €40 million. While Real Madrid do not see him as a priority at the moment, a continued improvement on his part could well see them drop other pursuits and chase him.
