Real Sociedad have confirmed the loan signing of Mamadou Sarr from Chelsea, with the 20-year-old centre-back joining without an option to buy. The agreement was made official this morning after paperwork halted completion yesterday.

He completed his medical at the Policlínica yesterday, with the club working late to finalise the deal.

Today’s training session, followed by the squad announcement, will indicate whether he can be involved straight away for tomorrow’s match against Espanyol at Anoeta, kick-off 19.00.
