Real Sociedad revamp away ticket applications via portal del Abonado | OneFootball

Real Sociedad have overhauled the away ticket application process for next season, with requests now made directly through the portal del Abonado. The changes follow member feedback after repeated cases of far more tickets being requested than later collected.

According to Diario Vasco, two allocation methods will remain in use depending on the fixture, either first come order or a ballot, with the club announcing the approach in advance based on expected demand or match type.

For fixtures allocated by order of registration, applicants must pay the full ticket price when submitting the request. Tickets will then be issued digitally to the email address linked to the user profile in the portal del Abonado.

Where demand exceeds supply, a ballot will take place. To enter, applicants must pay a reservation fee equal to a stated percentage of the ticket price, which will be confirmed beforehand.

This fee will be refunded if the applicant is unsuccessful, and deducted from the final price if successful. If the ticket is not collected, the reservation amount will not be returned.

In all cases, the applicant must be a club member or RS Fan.
