Nottingham Forest are positioning themselves among the Premier League clubs monitoring Adrian Przyborek, the 18 year old forward already being described as one of Poland’s brightest modern prospects. With more than 50 senior appearances behind him and a growing reputation as a versatile threat across the attacking line, TeamTalk highlight that Forest have lodged “repeated enquiries” in recent weeks. One source noted, “His acceleration, decision making and bravery on the ball are already at a level many players do not reach until their mid twenties.”

Forest’s recruitment team are clearly intent on pursuing profiles capable of development rather than instant stardom. Przyborek, with five goals and four assists this season, fits the template perfectly. His ability to attack from the right or operate as a secondary striker makes him a natural fit for Forest’s evolving tactical outlook. However, competition is fierce. Crystal Palace, Southampton and Brentford have all been tracking him, their scouts having attended recent Pogoń Szczecin fixtures. According to TeamTalk, the volume of interest “has surged significantly since October.”
The chase does not end in England. Benfica and Sporting CP are also deeply invested in laying foundations for a future deal. Their model is clear, acquire young talent, develop them through first team exposure, then sell at the peak of their value. Sources in Lisbon believe early discussions regarding both January and summer possibilities have already taken place, underlining the scale of Przyborek’s trajectory.
With a contract running until 2027, Pogoń Szczecin hold considerable leverage. They want a club record sale, with expectations exceeding €10 million plus substantial add ons. Forest, who have prioritised sustainable pathways and younger squad profiles since their Premier League return, are navigating an intensely competitive market. For Przyborek himself, TeamTalk state he remains “focused on development in Poland”, but a step into the Premier League or Portugal’s top tier in 2026 looks increasingly probable.

Forest supporters have watched the club shift towards younger, high-ceiling profiles in recent windows, and Przyborek fits that philosophy perfectly. His pace, directness and maturity are precisely what supporters want in wide areas, especially with the squad still seeking long term solutions in the attacking line.
Many Forest fans would welcome the move, noting that the club’s best acquisitions recently have come from betting on future potential rather than established names. The idea of signing a player already tracked by Benfica and Sporting CP adds credibility.
However, Forest fans will also be realistic. Competing with multiple Premier League clubs, plus two European development powerhouses, makes this a complicated chase. The club record fee requested by Pogoń Szczecin could test Forest’s budget, particularly with financial regulations tightening. Some supporters may fear being outbid if a bidding contest emerges.
Yet there is optimism. Forest have shown they can move decisively when they identify a priority target. If recruitment figures genuinely believe Przyborek can be moulded into a Premier League calibre winger, supporters will back that ambition. A young, fearless forward arriving at the City Ground would energise the fanbase and signal that the club continue to think toward sustained top flight consolidation.
