Revealed: How many signings Liverpool will make before the transfer deadline | OneFootball

Sky Germany reporter Florian Plettenberg has revealed how many more signings Liverpool plan to make before the summer transfer window closes.

The Reds have signed Victor Munoz from Osasuna and Jeremy Jacquet from Rennes on permanent deals so far this summer, while Ronaldo Araujo has joined on a season-long loan deal from Barcelona.

Liverpool still feel they are short in attacking areas, especially in the wide positions and the Reds are now exploring a number of avenues as they look to navigate the final days of the summer transfer window.

Bradley Barcola is one of their key targets in the remaining days of the transfer market as they look to negotiate Paris Saint-Germain down from their original €170m asking price.

Giving an update on the situation on Monday, Italian transfer insider Fabrizio Romano said on his YouTube channel: “Don’t forget about Barcola and Ibrahim Mbaye because both players once again are not part of the Paris Saint-Germain squad for the weekend.

“Bradley Barcola has been one of the sagas of the summer. If you are a friend of my YouTube channel, you heard Bradley Barcola to Liverpool since May, and I remain still super optimistic because Liverpool are working on it.

“There is a daily conversation with PSG. “I [didn’t] expect a breakthrough over the weekend. I always told you it’s going to be a slow deal.”

Before Romano added: “We are going to be in the final days of the summer transfer window, and that’s the case because it’s going to be next week and so I don’t know if it’s going to be on the line day or before, but the conversation is going to the very end.

“But Liverpool are absolutely on it.”

Brighton winger Yankuba Minteh is another player who Liverpool are looking to sign before the window shuts on September 1.

The Reds have already had two bids rejected for the Seagulls star with Gambian journalist Foday Manneh revealing a third offer is imminent, and may have already been lodged.

Manneh posted on X in early hours of Monday: ‘Yankuba Minteh to #LFC ; a 𝐓𝐇𝐈𝐑𝐃 𝐁𝐈𝐃 is expected to be sent to Brighton either tonight or Monday morning. They have discussed and are ready to go with an improved and convincing offer. The player continues to wait to formalise personal terms.’
