Haughton-Sinclair gained attention last season after he became the youngest player to turn out for Spurs’ Under-18s team, as well as netting a combined 90 goals and assists.

The teenager is considered one of the brightest young talents at Spurs’ academy and has now been rewarded with a call-up to train with Roberto De Zerbi’s first team.

Haughton-Sinclair’s call-up to the first team comes just a month after he was included in England’s Under-16s squad for the first time.

The 2011-born forward subsequently found the back of the net against Italy and has seemingly continued where he left off last season, scoring 10 goals and providing six assists for Spurs’ youth teams already this term.

Haughton-Sinclair confirmed he was in first-team training in a since-deleted Instagram story post, with the caption reading: “First team training."

With Spurs not in European competition this season, De Zerbi has more time on the training pitch and therefore more time to take a look at some of the academy’s most promising young talents.

After a remarkable rise over the last 12 months, Haughton-Sinclair is considered to have a bright future in north London and is now firmly on De Zerbi’s radar.

A senior debut may still be some way off yet, but the young forward is certainly making a name for himself at Hotspur Way.
