Roma to renew talks for Gittens after Leweling’s rejection

We’re now entering the final hours of the transfer window, and on the final night of negotiations, Roma is considering a new bid for Jamie Gittens, Chelsea’s 2004-born winger.

Following the failed agreement with Jamie Leweling of Stuttgart, Roma are now said to be ready to focus again on Gittens.

As reported by Gianluca Di Marzio of Sky Sport, the English club could open the door to a €5 million loan deal, while a buy option of around €55 million is being considered.

The two clubs are now back to the negotiating table with Roma intent on gifting Gasperini an additional signing.
